No. Although our mission is to benefit Badger student-athletes and their community, The Varsity Collective is a separate entity from the University of Wisconsin and operates within the letter and spirit of NCAA regulations.
You can support Badger student-athletes individually, by team, or by donating to The Varsity Collective.
In 2021, the NCAA began allowing student-athletes to be compensated for their Name, Image and Likeness (NIL). That change gave Badger student-athletes control over their own personal brand, and today, they can benefit from deals, partnerships and other opportunities—just like any professional athlete.
